How to Make Frozen Yogurt?
Frozen yogurt is a popular dessert made with yogurt. it has a creamy texture and sweet tangy taste. froyo is quite similar to ice cream but the main different is that it’s made with milk instead of cream. Additionally, like ice cream it is often serves in cups or cones with a wide range or topping options, such as fruits, chocolate chips and cookies.
Frozen Yogurt Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup heavy Cream
- 1 Cup Sugar, honey or other sweetener
- 1 Tablespoon corn syrup, optional for smoother froyo
Freeze the bowl of ice cream maker 24 hours in advance.
whisk together all the ingredients: combine the yogurt, heavy cream and sweetener in a bowl. whisk until heavy cream and sweetener are fully mixed in.
refrigerate if needed: if your yogurt mixture has warmed at all or if you want to wait churn it for any reason. place it in the freezer with a cover on it and wait until it has cooled to fridge temperature.
churn the yogurt until it’s thick: then pour the yogurt base into the ice cream machine. churn the yogurt until it has thickened to the texture of soft-serve or a thick milk shake.
